I have applied for a home loan at FNB on 29 April. I struggled for about 2 weeks for them just to accept the payslips I had given them. I had hand delivered them, emailed them, scanned them etc.
Eventually, after insistant phoning and nagging, this information finally went to the analysis department for further assessment as they still could not read the payslips. My contract with the seller is about to expire and I still do not have a response as it has been sitting with the credit department for almost 3 weeks as a result.
I have phoned FNB today and told them that I only have until Monday for them to give me an offer in writing, as I have applied at other banks in the meantime due to the lack of feedback and only have a certain time period to accept the other banks offer. I was told by FNB, that I probably won't get the written offer by Monday. Please, I am begging, may I have a offer in writing by Monday?
