Home loans department result in my home to be lost

In December 2012 I applied for a home loan at Absa. I was approved according to the call centre but never receveived the final grant since there were to Customer Information Files (CIF) for me on Absa's system. The grant could not be issued until Absa rectified the situation by merging the 2 CIF's I were told. They sent me to a branch to be FICA'd which I did, then the branch could not merge the CIF's, I got a personal banker just to help me solve the issue. Turns out that the 2nd CIF was created by the Home Loans department when they capured my home loan application. They refused to recapture it under my existing CIF. Eventually after several weeks and the personal banker being sent from pillar to post, the CIF's were merged but by then I lost the house I wanted to buy as it took too long and the seller accepted another offer. Now I found another place and I applied at Absa again only to find that there is once again 2 CIF's. The banker cannot remember what he did last time and 2 weeks later I have not even been able to get an indication if the loan will be granted as home loans is again sending the poor banker from pillar to post. I may lose this house as well.
