I have been trying for the last two weeks to retrieve my medical aid tax certificate from Old Mutual but have been unsuccessful. All i get is "we no longer have those records" You see they sold their medical aid business and have been taken over by new administrators but according to the new guys, Medscheme, Old Mutual did have not hand over all the client info. No matter who i speak to at Old Mutual, no one takes any responsibility nor can they find my info. Instead they keep referring me to Med Scheme while i sit with a serious SARS enquiry for the tax year in question. Sometimes the only way to get things done is through Hellopeter. So i wait in anticipation now for your response. And please let it be someone that can give me some answers and not someone who is going to tell me to call Medscheme or Medshield.
