Logged 2 claims for damage on my house due to flooding/rain.
1. I stepped a dent into my roof in June 2013 when cleaning gutters before the rain season. This rusted through almost overnight, due to water staying in the dent.
2. My paving moved due to flooding.
I noticed these things in December and reported it in January.
1. AForbes sent an assessor (Clive Byrne) who had a broken collarbone to inspect my roof. (W.T.F.)!!!
2. When he finally inspected the roof, and was about to leave I asked him about my paving, which he did no know about.
3. He (Clive) only gave AForbes the report a week later, after numerous calls and emails.
4. The claims was rejected due to "wear and tear".
I requested a competent assessor to be sent to my property for a proper inspection and AForbes said NO. An assessor with a broken collarbone, no informed knowledge of the claim and unable to lift paving-slabs, due to injuries!
Come on Alexander Forbes, I really thought better of your service...
