On the 5/4/13 i went to Absa Hayfield Pmb to change my loans due dates. on the 9th the request was apporved, on the 15th i went to another branch to find out if the date was changed only to find out it wasnt. on the 5/5 the debit orders went through and sadly instead of paying R3300 for both loans i was debited in total R6000 for them. when i enquired i was told i had to pay the amount, which resulted in me being in arears for one of them. i then went to Embassy building and phoned 0861222272 and spoke to Lebohang who informed the clerk that the change process was done incorrectly hence the large debits. from the 6/5/13 i have been harrassed continuosly by the loans division and have to repeat myself, i was even phoned on SATURDAY while spending time with my family and harrassed about my account being in arrears while it was not my fault in the first place. i have eventually decided to change banks because of the bad service i recieved from Absa, i have had enough. my bond is not fully paid because of this mishap. i was told i was going to be phoned by the call centre manager since monday and im still waiting instead am bieng called by the agents who i have to repeat myself to.
