I settle my outstanding balance of R7326 on my credit card and called Discovery last week to request closure of the credit card. The call centre agent (ref number_2848465641) i spoke to confirmed that i owe nothing and that the account will be closed but an agent will get in touch with me in 3 days to confirm my request. Yesterday i recieved a call from Zaakir Mohamed Joosub and i reiterated that I'm closing the credit cad and have no desire to have any more products with Discovery. He further confirmed that i owe ZERO on my credit card. He sent a form which i completed and emailed back within minutes. This morning Discovery Credit Card has the nerve to send me a statement saying i owe R81 on interest. INTEREST ON WHAT??? My account was settled on the 9th of May already. First it was Discovery Health saying i owe R1700 (after i terminated and joined MOMENTUM) AND NOW THIS? WOW!!!
