As absa personal loan division phoned this morning to confirm I took a loan with them to tell me I am in arrears. The loan was taken in April 2013 and first instalment would be in May 2013. I dropped an e-mail twice to absa division to MOVE the date of payment on the personal loan as whereto they could see on my bank statement that I get my salary on the 15th of every month. went to absa branch kroonstad where the debit order date was moved till the 15th as well as their enquiries also sent an e-mail. now due to being "in arrears" they WILL put this up on the credit bureau and it will effect me as a client to absa and all other places... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???
