I submitted a cancer claim for a client in March of this year. Initially Momentum couldn't open a PDF attachment to view the claim but didn't let us know. When we followed up we were told this. So we sent the claim again. Same story again. Eventually we faxed the documents. They kept asking for the same supporting documentation over and over again. To make matters worse the call centre takes forever to answer calls resulting in wasted hours holding on only to be promised that someone will call you back and this never happens.
This is a stage III cancer claim. The last thing a client needs when dealing with a life threatening disease is additional stress from an insurer.
