Frustrated to no end!!!

A couple of weeks back I was a victim of a smash and grab inccident and the criminals got away with my handbag, i.d., bank card, cellphone, banking details, absorlutely everything!! The next day I reported the inccident at the police station and tried to get a new bank account as I felt totally exposed and vulnerable. This person/s had my personal details and who knows what they were capable of. To my surprise when I went into the branch at Mitchells Plain, the lady said that there is no need for me to change my account details as they would need my pin to access anything. I walked away with a new bank card and new pin but I still felt as if these criminals could just about do anything these days and perhaps I should get new account details, bearing in mind that they have payslips as well that was in my handbag so they know exactly what and when I get paid. It seems as if Capitec is not interested in protecting their clients, now I ask does this even make sense, I've explained the situation, I have the affidavidt and Capitec cannot help protect my biggest asset, my salary... who will be held liable for loss of any funds? Appauled at the thought!
