I started my I-direct Insurance policy in Sep 2009, About two weeks ago, I realised I've never claimed in the three year period since inception, but did not receive a no-claim bonus. I called the call centre on the 30/04/2013 to enquire why it was not paid out to me eight months ago. The consultant apologised and told me that she would call back within a day or two to confirm when the money would be deposited into my account. She also informed me that a note was made on their system to the effect.
A week later and no response. I called back on the 06/05/2013, I was told that i will not be receiving a bonus because of a claim that was made in December 2012 for a windscreen, despite this claim, being out of the 3-yr period. I checked my records and called back on 07/05/2013 to enquire about why that decision was made, I spoke to Shibe, call reference 1-111967941, she told that it is still being evaluated, and to wait for someone to call me, despite already having waited a week.
I placed a call to ABSA Action line, earlier today, 07/05/2013, I spoke to Sasha, Ref. no.: 2331499. Apparently someone would call me within a 72 hour period. So now I wait...
