Yesterday I received a sms telling me that my account is overdrawn. I logged in, to see that an amount of R1025.60 had been deducted from my account. I have NO debit orders on this account, and then phoned the number on the sms only to be told that it was an "internal debit order"
I gave no permission for this amount to be deducted. How can a bank just take your last money? How can I now trust them to put any money into my account?
And the audacity to send me an sms to tell me my account is overdrawn while they withdrew the money. I have an old debt, but there is an arrangement in place that was paid. In fact I paid double the agreed amount. It seems I will have to close my account.
