Nedbank double debit my account for my personal loan. The 1st debit order went off on the 23rd Nov and the second one was on the 25th Nov. I went to the Fourways mall branch to dispute the one amount. To my surprise they told me I need a letter from Nedbank giving them permission to dispute the one amount. No communication was ever sent to me as a client that I need a letter to dispute a debut order. Their argument was that maybe it was an arrangement with Nedbank. I told them I didn't make any arrangement with Nedbank. I wont make an arrangement for double debit to a point were im left with nothing in my account. The last time I checked it was MY account. If im telling you the was no arrangement then there was no arrangement. I took time off from work in the morning to go and sort this out but I was disappointed with the way FNB handled this matter. You very quick to tell us how to stop a debit order on Cellphone banking but you fail to mention that I need a letter for disputing a debit. I want the one amount disputed its my money not yours.
