Groupon advertised a deal for a Kindle Wifi including accessories. The picture for the advert was of a Kindle Paperwhite whereas the specs were of the Kindle Wifi. I therefore phoned the Groupon Call Centre (28/10/2013) to query as to which Kindle was being advertised. The consultant advised me, without hesitation that the deal was on the Kindle Paperwhite. I bought the deal.
I was emailed my confirmation of purchase from Groupon (28/10/2013) which confirmed that deivery of the item will be made WITHIN ONE WEEK .
I followed up by phoning the call centre (31/10/2013) about delivery. I was informed that the deal closed 29/10/2013 so I should receive it by 05/11/2013 (today) AND I was told that the deal was on the Kindle WIFi, NOT the Paperwhite which the consultant had told me originally. Of course, I have not received any notification about delivery, or received my parcel!
Today I followed up with the call centre again and I was informed that they do not know when I will receive my parcel as Groupon do not send the Kindle's, it is outsourced and Groupon are not able to track it. So I should expect to receive my Kindle, maybe by the end of next week!! The service is pathetic!!!
