I made a claim with my insurance company about a broken car door glass and as efficient as they are they promptly assigned 24fix to fit a new glass for me (BIG MISTAKE). I got a call from 24fix that they were going to fit the glass once they got the glass. Little did I know they were going to buy the glass from knows where?? After their technicians arrived to fit the glass I told them not to fit the glass because it wasnt a genuine part only for one Mbali to phone me that they were going to fix the problem. After acknowledging and sourcing the correct glass from the car Manufacturer they phoned for an appointment to come and fit the glass. Now they insist I must pay them excess again. HOW ON EARTH? I spoke to my insurance and they tell me I cant pay excess twice for the same claim. I have a strong feeling 24Fix is trying to unfairly make me pay unjustified excess to cover up cost for their incompetence and inefficiency.
