What we say and do are two different things

My wife phoned PG Glass on Saturday morning 2nd March for an emergency repair of a glass pane in the top of a stable door in our home. The glass is reinforced/shatterproof and has frosting stickers on it. She expressly asked them to supply frosted and shatterproof glass and gave the exact dimensions of the pane and was told no problem this will be done, but they will only be able to help us on Monday. She enquired about the cost and was told the standard fee is R450.00 and she then asked even if it is reinforced and frosted glass and they told her yes - that is their fee and that is what we will pay.
I arrived home from work today to find that a clear pane of glass had been fitted and there was an invoice for me to pay which states that I owe PG Glass R750.00 - almost double what they told us on the phone. Also the glass fitted is not what I asked for. This is poor service!
