So much for being eXcited about being upgraded to a Platinum account. Fnb offers you all lovely beneffits only to be billed for it later on. I used my platinum card for the first time in December at the slow lounge at OR Tambo. At the counter i enquired from the lady if i qualifies, upon which she said yes you are allowed four visits fior the month, or i can take 3 people during off peak. i took two of my friends into the slow lounge. Now in January I am billed for R750 in one go. When i enquire, the guy that answered my call chats to a manager who says i shouldnt be billed and this will be reversed within 48 hours, so i wait. Today i call FNB as the reversal wasnt done only to be told that these charges will not be reversed as i did not meet certain criteria. So if the criteria is swipe your card for R5000 and a deposit of R16500 must be done. I have met these two requirements so why am i being billed. FNB just wants to make everything sound glorious when in fact it really isnt. I have been banking with FNB for so long but it is easier for me to get credit from another bank.
