Shocking Attitude

We booked a cruise on the Queen Mary 2 departing Cape Town in April for Southhampton. We dealt with an agent named Lauren and she was fantastic. Unfortunately she left shortly thereafter as her husband took a position out of Cape Town and we were passed on to Tyrone Francis. We never heard from him and he was never available. I took to dealing directly with Cunard Lines and received my boarding pass, itinery etc directly from them as they told me it had been sent to Flight Centre (whom are getting paid 10% of the cost to provide a service) but they had not contacted me to deliver it. Yesterday I got an email with the electronic tickets and telling me that he has left. At no stage did he ever contact us to ask us how we are geting back to Cape Town, where we will be staying etc. Classic case of "take the money and run". Phoned Head Office and they were as disinterested. Book direct. Internet is wonderful and takes the frustration of disinterested service people out of our lives.
