I booked a flight for my husband from cape town to ORT on flight ba 6428 at 07h30 on the 2nd April 2013 returning again on the same day at 14h00 on flight ba 6419. However when he wanted to check in, he was informed that the flight was delayed by 3 hours due to "crew rest". Unfortunately he was unable to wait the 3 hours to take the flight as he would not have been able to get everything done that he needed to in the time allocated and return again on the 14h00 flight back to cape town. He was collecting our cat in jhb and returning home.

My husband was given an email address to send the compliant through to for reimbursement, however to date no one has contact us.
This is ridiculous that the airline cannot inform passengers of CREW REST prior to the time.
