Kulula tickets non-transferable Vitality PIT FALL

We booked flights with [URL Removed] for Two people with their vitality number. Now one of them can't go, so I enquired about paying extra and having someone else use the ticket.

NO!!! People please read the fine print, Kulula is doing uncompetitive practices, we are forced to book flights through them as they have a monopoly on cheap flights to George! I asked the manager, if he could not just possibly give us a voucher for the value to be use by the passenger for a next flight within 3 months. The answer is no! So now we will lose almost R2000 due to the fact that we can't re-book.

Kulula could at least have just said we will give the person who is not flying a voucher for the value less an admin fee to be used within 3 months. And then we can book a new ticket for the person we can now let go...

Why with the new consumer act can things like this still happen? How can a company take my money and then blame small print, I mean we cant make a flight now we lose all our money, we not asking to cancel it and cash back, we are willing to fly with the voucher again and book another flight. This stuff does not happen in the UK and in USA.

Why here, thought we had this consumer act?
