My Suit-bag was damaged on my last flight from Uganda. The pull out handle was broken and exterior material had a hole in from the impact. SAA accepted the bag and told me they would repair. Five days later I was phoned and told the repair was done. I went to CT Airport to collect but was unhappy with so called repairs - the hole was badly patched and the pull-out arm was replaced with a dual arm system that was very floppy. When I looked into the rear of the case I noticed that the bracket used had additional holes in and one had already been broken through. I was not prepared to accept my bag and asked to see the Supervisor. They told me she was on her way but after 10 minutes waiting I run out of parking time so I asked for a phone no. to contact the Supervisor. I was given a ticket with a JHB no. I phoned JHB the next day and they referred me back to the Supervisor as the bag must be cleared by them. I then phoned CT Airport and was told I need to speak to Crystie. I have been phoning everyday and leaving messages for her to phone me with no avail. This is unacceptable and needs to be dealt with. Can someone at SAA please assist me with this problem?
