We were booked in at this hotel from the 28th December 2013 to the 4th January 2014.
As a 3 star this hotel was totally disgusting and unacceptable. They should definitely not be rated as a 3 star. We have stayed at various 3 star hotels in Mauritius and have never experience this type of accommodation before.
We were in room 218, which was a family room.
There was no hot water in the basin and when complaining about it were told 'that is how it is'? The bedroom ceiling was leaking badly onto the floor when it rained. It had obviously been fixed before but...? Curtains and bedding was dirty as well as the rugs on the floor which had dirty marks all over.
There were cockroaches in the cupboards and we could not and would not unpack our clothes in it.
The food was of very poor quality and flies everywhere without the food being covered and after complaining about this on the 3rd day of out stay?!
TOTALLY UNEXEPTABLE!
We were told there would be Wi-Fi connection and when we arrived we could not get any connection? Management at the hotel kept lying and saying that they had a virus in their system and it would be sorted out. Only after the 4th day we could get a connection.
