Deposit paid for service not received

On the 17th December 2013 I sent a deposit to Safari-now for accommodation as advertised on the internet.

When we arrived at the address on the 29th December 2013, said accommodation was on a pitiful state to say the least. Being a Sunday, we could not get in touch with Safari-now, left the site immediately and went looking for accommodation for our group of 10 (ten) - not an easy task - at that time of the year as well as the number of persons involved. Safari-now were advised of the situation early next day - by telephone - name of staff member on record. We have in the interim been advised that the resort never received our deposit and that same is still in the hands of Safari-now.

I have contacted them twice since our return namely on the 6th January and the 13th January 2014. They choose not to reply,

They have in their possession monies that are not due to them. I initially agreed to a deduction for telephone calls. This will now no longer be the case due to their nonchalance attitude.

Should I not receive MY MONEY - will take this matter further.
