My Son booked to go to durban and ensured that his baggage including his golf clubs were within the 20 Kgs allowance. At check in he was then told he had to pay R120 for the golf clubs??? Firstly why does the mango website cleary state that golf clubs are calculated within the 20Kg allowance with no note or mention of this questionable R120 extra charge??? On further investigation on his return in the mango detailed baggage page right down at the bottom well below the aforementioned statement it states in contradiction that golf clubs are free within the baggage allowance but a R120 handling fee for clubs is payable??? For what and why is this not clearly stated in the baggage allowance portion referred to above.
To query this I called the Mango numbers available - guess what 25 minutes of hanging on and pathetic service I eventually got a human!!!

1. Why the false advertising/information on the website.
2. Why the pathetic telephonic response.
3. Their numbers all being 0861 which gives them the ability to charge calls at their determined rate, what was I being charged for the 25 minutes of calls I had.
