WHAT IS SO WRONG AND DIFFICULT TO CHANGE A NAME

In Desember I had a lift apportunity to King Shaka Airport to go home earlier, but it fell through. Unfortunately my husband had already booked & paid for my airticket. I then phoned to put the booking on hold. The booking was put on hold for me to use at a later stage. We are in Jhb & there's absolutely no where I have to go in the next 6 months in order to use the ticket, however, my HUSBAND, WHOM PAID FOR THE TICKET, is able to MAKE USE OF THE TICKET & USE THE MONEY HE PAID TO KULULA.But now they say, no name changes allowed. My word, they only put you in a hole when buying a ticket. We are all humans & anything can happen for 1 not to be able to make a flight. My husband is the main member of the Vitality plan where we got a discount when he bought the ticket. What can be so difficult to change the name from Mrs to Mr? This is REDICULOUS! It's not your fault our plans fell through, but is in necessary to force me to waste money, just not to loose the money for the ticket. We have this opportunity to use the ticket & not waste the money. Or is this just how you MAKE MONEY by tricking people. We're asking to change it from me to my HUSBAND, not a friend or far off relative!!
