Comuter paying for there incompetence

On the morning of Tuesday 3/12/2013 me and my cousin went to Homelake Station to take the 9:20 express train to Krugersdorp station. On getting there we found no one at the ticket office and no1 at the gate selling tickets. We got on the train. When we got to Krugersdorp station we explained what happened. The staff treated us like criminals. They made us believe that we buying tickets when infact they charged us R48 from Homelake to Krugersdorp. I wanted to go talk to the station manager but he wasn't available. It was a huge inconvenience because we got fined for wanting to pay for our journey. We only had R100 on us and now we stuck because we don't have anything extra. The staff was very rude and not understanding at all!! I was left in tears! I tried phoning the customer service but they don't answer there phones. Head office answers but they can't help us! I feel robbed!
