14 years ago, unbeknown to me, a mistake was made by Flexi Club in allocating my initial ownership points. I paid the correct amount to the correct person at the time and was issued a valid Certificate of Membership. I have made very good use of my Flexi Club membership with holidays both home and abroad for many years. Out of the blue four month ago I was told that all my points, worth over R200 000, were to be taken away due to the error made 14 years prior. After numerous emails and a personal meeting where I went to the Flex Club offices myself, nothing has been resolved. Without consultation I was issued a new Certificate of Membership, with a unexplained, and far less, number of points allocated to me. To my mind this is not just bad business practice, it is. If my request for this matter to be amended is met with another terse email, sick employee, supervisor on leave, or another prolonged period without response I will escalate this matter even further.
