Cancellation of contract

I emailed my request to cancel my Flexi Club membership on 05/08/2013.
At the time of my cancellation request my annual fees where settled in full and I had not used any of my points for several years.
I have several reasons for wanting to cancel my membership, one of the main being the ridiculous increase in membership fees from 2011 to 2012 of 27 PERCENT for my membership.
FlexiClub have introduced conditions, one being that the cancellation request must be submitted between January and May
When I purchased the points several years ago these conditions were not in force.
So Flexi Club can change conditions as it suits them as - I did not agree to the change of conditions.
I received a call from FlexiClub advising that my membership would be cancelled and I would forfeit all the points. I agreed to this but have subsequently received a statement for subscription fees for next year.
I will not be paying any fees and if necessary will appoint a lawyer and make use of all the protection available in the Consumer Protection Act to fight this and will report this to all consumer protection forums.
I insist that my membership'047634' be cancelled immediately.
