We are very disappointed with the level of service we got from Megabus and Coach. On Sunday the 22 of Sept.
We had an agreement with them to pick up people at Kievits Kroon just outside of Pta. The appointment was set for 07:30am to 08:00am but both buses where extremely late arriving at 9H15. This resulted in us having to make alternative transport arrangements for some of the staff to catch the Cape-Town flight. My assistant called one bus driver at 07:00am and he told him that he was on his way and we should expect him at 8:15am. At 08:15 there were no buses and when we tried to contact the driver his phone was off. The resort staff confirmed by phone that buses were only dispatched from Soshunguve later at about 8H15. After numerous phone calls and frustration/screaming and shouting the buses arrived at Kievits Kroon at 9H15.
We had people booked to fly across the country and the first flight was Cape-Town at 09:40am. We had to find alternative ways to get people to the airport which inconvenienced all of us. Both buses ultimately arrived at 09:15am which was not the agreement. Just bad service with no communication or apology.
