I recently underwent orthopaedic surgery.
I booked a flight today (09 Sep) thinking it would be easy to call through ahead of time to notify them that Id require assistance with a special seat (flight is on the 21 Sep).
After calling the 0861 number, I was placed on hold for 45 min!!! With no response whatsoever!
Then i called reservations and was assisted by a completely incompetent person named Althon!
In between not answering my questions, and remaining silent for minutes or so .. I could not understand a word he was saying .. He couldbt even assist with my query.
I need a special seat as I cant sit with a bent leg .. and after trying the whole afternoon to seek assitance regarding this .. all i was told was that i must go to the airport and inquire there and that seats were subject to availability! There is no word that describes what im feeling right now!
SAA DO NOT ASSIST THE INCAPACITATED OR DISABLED! PERIOD!!
