I have decided to cancel my contract with The Holiday and will rather cut my loses (R19000) than have to deal with them. PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER CONTACTING ME... I'M NOT INTERESTED!
I experienced a few setbacks a year or so ago and due to bad communication from my side my contract with THC got was cancelled - fair enough.
I am now in a position to settle all my outstanding fees ( -R3000 for this year and R3000 for last year) but these clowns want to charge me R1800 to reinstate my points and R1399 which is an iExchange fee.
THC decide to move away from RCI and join iExchange. Therefor the fee that every member had to pay to join RCI no longer applies and all members are expected to pay (again) to have access to international facilities.
R1800 Reinstatement Fee!?
I told the woman at the call centre that i would consider paying this fee if she could explain, in detail, what this fee covers. She said that because my contract was cancelled my points were moved out of my name and therefore it was an admin process to move them back into my name. Fair enough, I understand admin processes... but R1800!!? She also told me that this was non negotiable.
So I say...
