Gerhard Shrimper 0820609652 - Woodmead, a rep of Holiday Club, visited me at my house after I told him that I do not want to have anything to do with timeshare anymore. We wanted to go overseas and a few years ago when I found that Holiday Club RCI = R50 000 I had to be pay over and above my points. Gerhard Shrimper said that it was no longer the case and that Holliday club now has access to 4700 plus sites in Europe alone. He also said that we will get our own login and can visit those sites. He also said that a once off fee, to become a member of IExchange and our points will cover our 2 year planned trip of 4 weeks in Europe. We then purchased 6 extra points and were given a voucher that will cover a week in Europe.
The end result is that we still have to pay for every week and the voucher is null and void. The web site login that was given to us only covers Southern Africa. For what I have paid so far, I can with ease, via internet, arrange and pay accommodation cheaper and without any stress in Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany. Our plane tickets are also now in jeopardy together with a two year dream!
