NO STANDBY IN EMERGENCY

I am so disgusted by [URL Removed] service and policy. I had to take an emergency flight to JHB as I had a family crisis and had to get to JHB as soon as possible. I had to rush from Stilbaai to catch a flight. I prebooked a flight at 21:50 as i was not sure if i would make the flight at 19:00. I arrived at 18:20 and there was a flight19:00 flight but they refused to let me on standby after i purchased a very expensive flight for 21:50. The flight was not fully booked. After consulting with three Kuala staff members they all said the same thing to me, " Kulula does not do standby...! "??? What type of airline does not do standby flights even though they say they do on their website??? I am disgusted by their staff's unfriendly and useless service! Needless to say Kulula has lost a frequent flyer and i will definitely be using other airlines that provide a better service and standby as emergencies do happen.
