So I take the 4 pm flight from OR Tambo to Cape Town international airport. To make boarding and landing easier, I carried a small bag only for carry on. I board the flight, and get told that there's not enough space for carry on luggage. I'm then requested by the hostess to hand my backpack over for storage.
