At the end of January, I received a call from one of the call centre agents at Flexi-club informing me that my annual fees have not yet been paid for 2103. I told him that it was in all probability due to the fact that I changed banks having caused the debited about from my original bank account to be returned. He then told me that the annual fees will be circa R4500, and we had arranged to set off this amount by way of two equally split debit orders against my new bank account. He told me that I would also qualify for a discount as it will be a debit order payment. Flexi club then put two debit order instructions in place for the outstanding amount, and this amount (circa 4500) was then paid in full by the end of March. To my dismay I received numerous calls stating that I still owe an amount of over R1000. I said that this is unacceptable because in my view I have paid my fees for the year. Then I was told that fees had gone up. I said that it was not my doing that the wrong amount was quoted to me. Now I have been threatened with legal action. This is unacceptable. Flexi-club should have done proper admin from the start, and not hound and harass clients for their errors made.
