On the 9th of July my wife, 2 year old daughter and I were checking in at Lanseria airport. We were not greeted with a "hallo", just a hand being extended for our ID's and a voice saying one bag at a time. All three bags had a combined weight of 59kg with one being 24kg. The lady said it will be R250. That was the total amount of conversation. I asked if she was serious and she just gave me a ticket and pointed to the Kulula ticket sales. I was stunned when she spoke to the "manager" in her native language and they both laughed while looking at me. Again i was stunned. Arriving at the ticket sales a lady took the ticket and while i was still explaining my case walked over to the card machine and said ;"250". That is it!!! My wife walked to the other gentleman SITTING, not even making the efford to stand he pointed to the poster behind him and said: 'you should have read your terms and conditions'. THAT IS IT. Upon returnening to the check-in i handed over the receipt and was hand my boarding passes. She made the effort of asking: 'car seat? " but I walked away but was greeted with a HEY as i walked away. I know you will never come back to me becauce you are so busy being SA's best
