DISSATISFIED ABOUT EXTRA CHARGE

I booked a week at Margate Sands through the above mentioned club for the period 13 July to 20 July 2013.
It us a three bedroomed unit that can accomodate 8 people.

Today I was advised by the resort that I would have to pay for parking for the second vehicle.

My dissatisfaction arises from the fact that: Flexi Club own units of this size and should then have access to sufficient parking per unit. It goes without saying that the likelihood of 8 people arriving in 1 vehicle is hardly possible.

Secondly the accommodation week falls out of season, as schools reopen on Monday 15 July and people will generally depart on Saturday and Sunday. I fail to see a shortage of parking as the resort will probably be under occupied.

Finally, regardless of all said, it remains the responsibility of Flexi Club who are holding the position of booking agent to advise the member of any unusual conditions at the time of making the booking, so that the member has the right of decision of acceptance thereof.

What appears to Flexi Club to be an unimportant detail, is possibly of important consequence to a member, as we have already paid dearly for our points and more so in the form of a user charge!
