What happened to good old fashioned, I am the customer, and I deserve at minimum what I paid for. Matter trying for years to use air miles, we finally managed however premium economy and business class were full, As my husband is 6 ft. 4 in a nor, al economy seat is sheer torture for him, especially when the person in front of him puts their seat back. We still had to pay in R 5000 airport tax, be that as it may, we telephonically booked a seat with leg room and paid almost R 800 for this.

The person on the telephone and the gent who booked us in confirmed this leg room. Needless to say we were the row behind the legroom. The hostess confirmed that we had paid for legroom but as the plane was full suggested we ask for a refund. That's helpful.

Upon arriving in England we tried to organize or upgrade for the journey home, we ere told Absolutely no leg room available, no upgrades available, and the call centre do not let up, you cannot get past them to speak to someone in authority, it is impossible. They told us our email would be answered in 10 days, by then I will be home. We fly on 19 th London Heathrow to Cape Town, what a nightmare that will be, never ever again.
