We flew BA6414 CT to JHB this afternoon, and found ourselves in a "business class" section that had been converted to economy class. This is the second time it's happened to us on a return flight from CT to JHB where we have paid FULL BUSINESS CLASS FARE. It's unacceptable! We have an 11 month old baby and pay full business class fare when we fly in order to get the extra room, we always fly in 2 or 3 A&C (window and aisle).
Why were we we not informed that our flight had been changed to economy class seating throughout when we checked in and given the option taking a later or earlier flight? When this happened to us the first time as loyal BA customers we let it go, but now it's happened to us a second time and I'm mad as and really disappointed in BA. R15 000 to fly in what amounts to economy class, come on!
