As Cellucity do not respond to this site, I am cc'ing this to Vodacom. I went into Cellucity on Saturday 20th to buy a new battery for my Nokia phone. The salesman gave me one and assured me it was correct, even though Itold him it looked shorter than my present battery, which I showed him. No, he said, it was correct. I paid R249 with my credit card. Needless to say, I went home, and the battery was too short - did not fit my phone. The following Saturday I went back to get a refund, and was told there are no refunds over the weekend. I then filled in a form with my credit card details and was told I would be phoned on Monday and would get the refund done. I stopped in there this afternoon - and was rudely told by the manager that they actually have a sign on the till saying no refunds (not at the till I paid at!!) and basically that I was "lucky" that they are going to refund me. And, that I WOULD be contacted TODAY by their head office, to which my claim was sent. It is now Tuesday, no call, no refund.. But, I am angry about the refund policy and the attitude that even though they sold me the wrong thing, I am LUCKY they will consider refunding me!!
