I took out a data contract with Cell C direct. They delivered the modem 2 weeks after contract approved. (problem 1) After I received the modem could not access the internet as the system claimed I was not FICA'd even though I was as required supplied FICA docs when modem delivered (problem 2). Struggled with call centre to activate and when activation was finally connected access blocker limit in place. (problem 3) Phone call centre no assistance can be given as it was the weekend. This all occurred on the first weekend I received modem. Due to unacceptable service requested to cancel contract within the 7 day period for utter unprofessional service. Ref numbers: 3021803477, 3022102518, that can be found. Retention ref num: 130419 - 0000025546. Still nothing. they have debited in total -R1500.00 with no statement provided and after numerous cancellation request they can't cancel the contract as they have not collected their modem, which they did not even know I had!!! I want my funds returned and contract cancelled. Alan Knott-Craig has a major problem on his hands with grossly incompetent people in his employ!
