ALTECH AUTOPAGE- UNFAIR TREATMENT

Round about 20th of August 2013 i signed for a 24-months data contract at an Altech Autopage store in Groblersdal (Mpumalanga) and was given a sim card and a modem. With this contract i was supposed to get 2GB of data monthly, to use for internet connection

I installed the modem on my laptop but it didn't work. I then went to the store where i signed the contract for assistance. A salesperson called Phillip tried in vain to get the modem to work on my laptop but he failed.
So, i was sitting with a modem that i can't use.
On the third day i went back to the store to cancel the contract since i couldn't use the device. I signed some forms and returned their modem and sim card. In September I received a bill, for the contract i cancelled within 3 days. I also received another bill now in October. When i enquire with Autopage im told the contract is active and that it cannot be cancelled. What puzzles me is that Autopage received my cancellation documents and their modem, but they still want money from me. What do they want me to pay for? I returned their device, un-used, within 3 days. They are not providing ANY service to me whatsoever, and i am not in possession of their goods
