Poor Customer Service

We wanted to change from Autopage MTN to MTN SP direct. Went to the store, stood in a queue for more than an hour, which is always the case, completed all forms and provided all info required to change to a Anytime 500 with a upgrade due. They said our number will be ported to MTN and everything should be done by the end of the weekend, but we still needed to cancel our contract ourself with Autopage, which was not the agreement. We enquired with Autopage, they said MTN have to take care of that, but even after taking this up with personnel from the MTN shop and the MTN call centre, they still would not assist us with this - kept on saying we have to do it ourself. We then decided we want to cancel the process at MTN and stay with Autopage, so the personnel @ MTN said they can do that for us, but they can't give us a reference, so we thought it was cancelled with MTN SP. Autopage then assisted us with a new phone on our current contract, but this morning my phone number was no longer working, only to find out they ported my number to MTN SP. Is the service all Contract Clients receive?
