I have tried to escalate this within the business but the consultants will not put me through or give me email contacts for management (Angelo) who does not return my calls.
o My contract with Autopage has expired and I instructed Autopage to port my number to MTN prepaid (Ref: 1562528)
o 16 June: Autopage cut off phone service
o 17 June: MTN told me that my number had not been ported to their network as requested. Autopage Benmore then told me that the porting hadn't yet happened. The store consultant logged a call with the call centre to get this done.
o Over the next 2 days I spoke to numerous consultants who told me that I should be back on line any moment.
o 19 June: Told by Klaus that instead of porting my number to MTN prepaid, Autopage had ported me to Cell C (Ref: 264493)
o 20 June: Told by Bheki that my number wasn't ported at all but rather cancelled in error. He logged another call with IT but cannot give me any indication of when/if this will be resolved.
o Again I asked to speak to a manager (Angelo), but again they wouldn't put me through.
o I have now been without cell phone service for 5 days and Autopage are not returning my calls.
