Sim card not activated

I took out an additional contract at MTN SP store at Atterbury. Got the package with modem and simcard on thursday 26 April 2013. Switched the modem on and the signal stayed red. Use another simcard to test the modem, the modem works. On friday I have phoned 808 to log the complain. The useless person in the call centre said it will take 2 to 24 hours for the sim to be activated. So I waited, checking every now and then if it is working or not. On saturday morning I have phoned again, this time the lady said she will send an email to who ever to activate my simcard... saturday afternoon still nothing happened. I phoned again 808. Charlie answered my call and was helpfull but could not help me because the department who must activate the simcard does not work on weekends.

MTN you are for sure not the better connection anymore, pull up your socks. You are going to loose long term customers like myself.

I do not want just a sorry from MTN, you better come up with something good. 4 days (maybe 5 or 6 as it will take a few days to activate a simcard) without a internet connection is unacceptable.
