Cellphone Contract

I received an sms from Shapiro Shaik Defries and Associates regarding urgent payment on an outstanding MTN Cellphone Account. My wife then received an email from them addressed to me regarding the same thing. Firstly, I don't have an MTN Contract so i was quite suprised to see i have been handed over to attorneys by MTN and am in the process of being blacklisted. I then called MTN to explain that i don't have a cellphone contract with them, however they advised that i need to deal with the attorneys as it has already been handed over. I then contacted the attorneys and dealt with Tidimalo who requested i get an affidativit and send this through along with a copy of my ID. This was done on 19 December - emailed to Tidimalo at the attorneys. I have since been calling MTN who always refers me back to the attorneys and when i call the attorneys they advise they are waiting on MTN. I want this case marked as on MTN and the attorneys side and i want the emails and sms's to stop regarding getting blacklisted. I want to know how MTN gives out cellphone contracts with the RICA/FICA process in place because it seems they must have internal as my wife had the same issue.
