Insurance on SmartPhone a!

Over the weekend My smart Phone accidentally fell and the screen got cracked. As I pay for insurance every month which FNB deducts as "Insurance" for my smart Device, I kind of expect my screen to be replaced!? But this is not the case. I am being told that the screen will not be replaced because the phone is still working?? Why am I paying for insurance on my Phone? On FNB's web site it stipulates the following: "This insurance covers you against accidental loss, damage or. If your insured smartphone, tablet or device is accidentally lost the amount payable will be the current settlement value. Please note that you are responsible for the excess payable." No where does it state "Your Device must be broken before we can repair it" I find this completely unacceptable and want this insurance cancelled immediately. I want my Fiance's Insurance cancelled as well - I/We will NOT pay for something that does not cover what it is intended for! FNB has disappointed us time and time again! It seems banks are there for their clients when there are no issues. But just let there be any issues, then you get backstabbed. Nice going FNB! WIll be insuring our phones elsewhere!
