Early this year, I tried to cancel my contract with Virgin Mobile because voice mail wasn't being delivered. A month later, I made the fatal mistake of accepting an upgrade from them via a phone call. I will restrain myself at this point in time to go into the details of the broken handset and the contract changes as I finally came to an agreement with them - albeit after huge amounts of inconvenience emotionally and financially on my side.
A week ago I moved to a new office. This property is not being covered by the networks of Virgin Mobile. My cell number is the one all my partners, sponsors and contacts use. No reception means no business. I finally, despite huge amounts of work on my plate, drove the 60 km's to Cape Gate as the only way out is a cancellation of this new contract.
The 2 girls at the desk tried their best but the big shots would not budge. Best case scenario is freedom from Virgin in 6 weeks time. At that time my organisation could be bust. They insist that I take the brunt financially and time-wise for their lack of providing network coverage on this property, despite the fact that others have been trying for 2years now to get reception.
