The only way I can communicate the problems I'm having with this company is in a list.
- I have little to no reception on my phone, let alone 3G coverage. My phone will often go straight to voice mail and I can't send and receive SMS's to/from certain numbers.
- I can't talk to anyone at the call center because most of the time it goes straight to the "Rate Our Service" message.
- When I do get through to the call center I get put on hold (which often means hung up) or promised I will get a call back which never comes.
- No one responds to the website support email address.
- I can't get an explanation on why I've been charged "Usage" on my bill, but have R500 carry over airtime.
- I can't get any information on when my contract ends.
I joined Virgin Mobile when they launched and its just been downhill from there. It's disappointing that the "Virgin" name is associated with this company.
As soon as my contract ends I want it moved to pay-as-you-go. I would like confirmation of this in writing. Virgin Mobile is notorious for continuing to bill people once contracts have ended, I expect this not to happen to me.
The day I can leave Virgin Mobile can not come sooner.
