I have received a MTN contract statement for an account that I did not open. Fortunately the banking details possessed on this statement are those of an account that i have closed earlier this month.
What is appauling to me is that for the past 48 hours I have been trying to get a hold of the call-centre or customer service lines at MTN (083173 and 0831808 respectively) to explain to them that I did not open this account, but there is absolutely nobody interested in picking up the phone at the MTN call-centres.
I am looking forward to the call that will be made to me by MTN when payment for this contract is not received - speaking to me will not be a pleasure.
I strongly suggest MTN contact me to sort this out because when the time comes for this dispute to be entertained, my legal reps and I will cost MTN a lot of money in legal fees.
PS: Now it is clear why I have never had the desire to be an MTN subscriber - Needless to say
