My blackberry screen cracked, I took it for repairs. I was told that it would need to be accessed, then I would get a call with regards to how much it would cost to fix it. I got the call accepted the quote. A fews days later I got a call to collect my phone. At this point I was very happy that my phone had been fixed. Then I'm told that it's not charging and it would have to be sent to Johannesburg. My irritation levels rose beacuse aside from the screen being cracked I am sure there are other checks that are done prior to the handset being haded over to the client. I agreed for the phone to be sent to Johannesburg. A week later I received a call from customer service with regards to an sms I received about the service I got. I explained the situation and also expressed my irritation and annoyance. According to the info on her system, the quote to fix my phone is R1800 and that the phone had liqud damage. I was very surprised because I had no proof that it was damaged by me or by the repair centre cos a proper ssessment had not been done. I bought a new phone and the last got an sms that my phone is in transist I have not received a call from vodashop and it's been two weeks..
